Are you looking for a change this year? Do you want to start by finding a new job? Interviewing for a job can be tough, but with a little practice and guidance, you’re sure to knock the ball out of the park! After you finish polishing your resume, look over these interview tips:
- Research the company and position: Whether you’re familiar with the company or not, always do your research. It shows that you are prepared, and are serious about the job.
- Be prepared: If you know you have an interview, prepare! Compile lists of potential questions with answers, know your strengths and weaknesses, and find ways to show that you will be an asset in the new position.
- First impressions: You only get to make one first impression, so do it well. Dress appropriately and professionally, have copies of your resume, turn off all mobile devices, focus on the interview, and don’t forget to smile!
