North Carolina State University’s interesting insect museum
Insects are not usually things that make me happy. I do like learning about insects and I can tolerate viewing them if they are dead. If you share a similar curiosity about bugs, the NC State University’s Department of Entomology has something for you.
Its Insect Museum has a large collection of insect specimens that are also available on a GigaPan user profile. What is a GigaPan user profile? It is a virtual viewer, allowing certain users to display items and other users to view those items. Some of these insects are extremely small and require you to zoom in closely to see them. They are all very interesting. I viewed a few beetles today. Do you like examining insects?
