October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, but it does not mean awareness comes to an end. During this month, Rex Health Care partnered with businesses to support breast cancer awareness and early detection. If you visit its website you will see plenty of information on the right side of the page.
The website first offers you the opportunity to share a “Pinky Promise” on your Facebook page. A “Pinky Promise” is a promise to schedule an annual mammogram, perform a regular breast self-exam, spread the word about breast cancer awareness, and “shout-out” to someone touched by breast cancer.
October 25th, you can support both the Carolina Hurricanes and Rex Healthcare Foundation by purchasing discount tickets by October 21st, 7pm. Purchase up to $50 worth of bras and receive a Liv self-exam kit. The Rex Health Care website also provides an online Early Detection Center.
